SHIPPING CASES module

The Forwarding File module in the PasCom Spedycja II system enables full handling of domestic and international forwarding orders in the field of import and export. As a key element of the system, it allows users to collect, view, and control complete documentation related to each individual sea and air shipment. Thanks to the module, the system automatically generates transport documents and allows the registration of containers, orders, warehouse, customs, and cost documents. The forwarder also has the ability to monitor the profitability of cargo and consignments and to flexibly manage means of transport.

Comprehensive handling of forwarding orders

The module is a central component of the PasCom Forwarding II system and is designed for managing the full forwarding process in the areas of sea, air, and – after extension – also road, rail, and multimodal transport. It enables the management of import and export orders, offering mechanisms for the registration and archiving of a complete set of documents – transport, warehouse, customs, and cost documents related to sea, air, and – after integration – road, rail, and multimodal shipments.
Each forwarding file consolidates detailed information concerning containers, shipments, transport conditions (e.g. conventions, Incoterms), transport orders, warehouse documents, as well as costs and revenues. The solution allows easy assignment of documents to specific loads, charters, or stages of order execution.

Operational flexibility and system integration

The Forwarding File module was designed with flexibility in mind – it allows fast changes in the assigned means of transport, registering LCL or FCL shipments, as well as multimodal transport. The openness of the solution enables full integration with other program modules, such as: Offering, Storehouse, Customs Warehouse, Ship Agency, Agency and Customs Guarantees. For companies engaged in diverse forwarding and transport activities, integration with the PasCom Transport II system has also been foreseen, enabling the management of both road transport and sea forwarding within a single, consistent ecosystem.

Document generation and profitability analysis

The system generates the required transport documents (CMR, waybills, file covers), eliminates the risk of missing key formalities, and improves customer service efficiency. The user can monitor the profitability of operations at the level of individual shipments, entire orders, as well as their groups, by analyzing the cost and revenue structure. The module enables quick financial summaries and supports commission settlement.

Integration with the nWEB II application

The forwarding file register in the nWEB II application allows sharing selected data with an external Client whose forwarding orders are processed in the PasCom system. After prior registration in the user database, the Client’s employee gains access to basic information regarding a specific forwarding file. The available data includes, among others: shipment (container) number, forwarding number, contract number, importer name, planned departure date (ETS) and arrival date (ETA), loading and unloading ports, Incoterms conditions, type of forwarding, type of goods, and other key information.

Benefits for the user

  • Centralization of the entire forwarding process in one intuitive place
  • Elimination of documentation errors and effective monitoring of invoice flow and order execution status
  • Full control over costs, revenues, and profitability
  • Scalability of the system and adaptability to the company’s individual needs
  • Integration with other PasCom tools
  • Transparency and ease of cooperation thanks to data sharing with clients via the nWEB II application
Thanks to this module, forwarding companies can efficiently manage orders, minimize operational risk, streamline internal communication, and improve the quality of their customer service.
