PasCom is not only a tool supporting fleet, transport, and forwarding management but also a comprehensive solution enabling full HR service in an enterprise. One of the key components of this functionality is the Leave and Absences module—a practical tool designed for transport and forwarding companies that require effective employee absence management.

Recording Various Types of Absences

The Leave and Absences module enables detailed recording of various types of absences, such as vacation leave, sick leave, or care for relatives. Each absence can be assigned to one of the predefined statuses, e.g. “reported,” “approved,” or “awaiting acceptance,” which ensures transparency in personnel management.

Thanks to information centralization, all absences are available in one place, and the HR, personnel, and managerial departments have up-to-date insight into team staffing levels. This functionality is particularly helpful for planning substitutions and limits the risk of staff shortages, which is crucial in the transport and forwarding industry.

Automation of Leaves and Requests

The system automatically calculates the number of days off (used and remaining), taking into account statutory non-working days, which significantly saves time and eliminates calculation errors. The process of submitting leave requests is maximally simplified—employees can submit requests electronically and then forward them to supervisors for approval. The module also enables generating print-ready requests, which organizes and streamlines the formal circulation of documents within the company. Thanks to these features, the absence management process becomes transparent and less time-consuming, supporting the efficiency of the entire company.

The “Leave and Absences” module is a core part of the PasCom Fleet II system, and in the case of PasCom Transport II and PasCom Forwarding II it can be implemented as an additional module, allowing the solution to be adapted to the individual requirements of the company.
